PiP Collective is a peer community for the people building palliative care programs in the real world. No playbook. No hierarchy. No gatekeeping. Just practitioners sharing what works, solving what doesn't, and building the standards this field still needs. ## Why PiP Exists Palliative care is some of the most meaningful work in healthcare. It's also some of the most complicated to build and sustain. Financial pressure, payer complexity, regulatory uncertainty, staffing demands, and software that was never designed for this work. Most programs are navigating all of it without a real roadmap. PiP Collective exists because the people doing this work are the best source of answers for it. Light, focused, and purposeful. - **EMR built for this work** Operator-defined workflows that shape how software gets built, not adapted from something else. ## How We Meet - **Quarterly virtual sessions** 60 to 75 minutes. You can request an invitation using the form on this page. Someone from our organizing team will follow up to learn a little more about your work and confirm your membership. We keep the community intentionally sized so conversations stay meaningful. Is membership really free? Yes. There are no dues, no fees, and no contracts. Membership is free because the value of this community comes from the people in it, not from a paid program. Can I invite a colleague? Absolutely. Is this a Curantis sales program? No. PiP Collective is convened and coordinated by Curantis Solutions, and we are transparent about that. Curantis handles the operational work that makes the community possible: scheduling, communications, and logistics. Curantis team members participate as peers in the community, not as presenters or vendors. PiP will never be used as a sales venue, and member information is never shared outside the community. What makes this different from other palliative care industry groups? Most industry groups are structured around conferences, certifications, or advocacy. PiP Collective is structured around peer conversation. There are no keynotes, no sponsors on stage, and no polished presentations. Members show up with real questions, real data, and real experience. The goal is practical standards built by the people doing the work, not content produced for a general audience. Is this only for hospice organizations? No. PiP Collective is open to anyone building or supporting palliative care programs, whether that is within a hospice organization, a health system, an independent practice, or a consulting practice. If you are doing the work, you belong here. What is the time commitment? Modest and flexible. We meet quarterly for virtual sessions of 60 to 75 minutes, once a year for an in-person half-day working session, and occasionally for focused topic micro sessions as the community identifies needs. There is no minimum attendance requirement, though consistent participation is what makes the community valuable for everyone. Do I have to attend every session? No. Life happens and we understand that. We do ask that members show up when they can and engage consistently over time. Members who find they are unable to participate regularly are welcome to step back and rejoin when the timing is better. Can I send someone from my team in my place? For virtual sessions, yes. We ask that you let the organizing team know in advance so we can keep the member list accurate. For in-person sessions, reach out to us directly and we will work it out. Are sessions recorded? Virtual sessions may be recorded for members who cannot attend live. Recordings are shared only within the member community and are never distributed publicly. If a session covers particularly sensitive topics, we will confirm with the group before recording. What happens to what I share in sessions? Everything shared in PiP Collective stays within the community. Members agree to maintain confidentiality as a condition of participation. We do not attribute specific comments or data to individuals outside of sessions without explicit permission. Will this always be free? We intend to keep membership free for the foreseeable future. If that ever changes, we will communicate it transparently and well in advance, and any decision will be made with member input. Who runs this long term? Right now, PiP Collective is organized and coordinated by Curantis Solutions. As the community grows, we expect governance to evolve with it, potentially including member-led committees and a more independent structure over time. The goal is for PiP to belong to its members, not to any single organization.
